Power Of Artificial Intelligence In 2021

Artificial intelligence has recently been in the news for all the wrong reasons. One such reason is the way in which it is used by companies to beat their competition. Recently IBM has beaten all its competitors in a big way by developing a new computer system that can beat all of its own human employees at chess. If you believe the media, you may think that this is only the beginning or even the future of artificial intelligence. This article shows how artificial intelligence should be viewed on two different levels and will hopefully show you which side of the fence you should stand on.

  • On one side of the fence, we have those who are saying that artificially intelligent machines with a high level of human intelligence are the same thing as having superintelligence, and therefore it is not as dangerous as the current media is saying it is. On the other side of the fence, we have people saying that artificial intelligence is a machine learning system and therefore it is dangerous because one cannot tell when the machine learning system is going to go haywire and cause severe accidents. In fact, the only thing you can do is prevent these things from happening in the first place, because once the artificially intelligent system starts learning how to drive drunk, then obviously it is a very dangerous system indeed. We all know that accidents on the road are one of the leading causes of death, so if we can prevent these things from happening then isn’t that worth something?
  • Of course, if you are a superintelligence expert and believe that artificial intelligence is beneficial, then there is no harm in making sure that these programs are kept under wraps. However, if you are more of a mainstream researcher in the field of AI, then maybe the more that the information gets out about artificial intelligence, the better it will be. You see, most of the great discoveries in the past were started by ordinary people with just a little knowledge of computers, and perhaps a few software programs and maybe a few computers. Thus, it is up to the general public to take a role and help this wonderful and powerful technology becomes more useful to humanity. Please consider all this.

Why Artificial Intelligence?

Many people are asking the big question, “Why Artificial Intelligence?” We know there are reasons for why it is being done, but many people don’t really understand what the reason is. I am going to explain to you the top 3 reasons.

Efficiency: One reason that we are using AI, is to improve efficiency in our company. We want to make sure we are maximizing every single penny we spend. If we save money on labor, we can potentially increase profits as well. In order to do this, we need to ensure every employee knows their place, and when they’re supposed to be working. Having an actual human in the loop is just too much of a hassle.

Technology: Another one of the top reasons is because businesses are using this technology too. Websites, companies, and even individuals are starting to use this new technology to help them produce more accurate results, and get more done in less time. In some cases, these artificial intelligence programs are able to save businesses millions in labor expenses. The amount of savings could be massive for these businesses.

Accuracy: Finally, one of the biggest reasons we are using artificial intelligence is because it can replace entire departments. If there is ever a need for an entire department to be fired, or for a human to step into that role, artificial intelligence could do it for them. We already have programs that can take over specific tasks and complete them for us. In fact, many job descriptions are now being handed off to computers. This would free up hundreds of jobs and could ultimately lead to a large boost in the economy.

So, why is artificial intelligence such a great thing?

First, by eliminating a lot of the mundane, boring human tasks that humans used to perform, such as driving a car, taking customer orders, and so forth, we are replacing that with artificially intelligent computers. This leaves more time for the more exciting things we humans are actually capable of doing. This also helps prevent the loss of human jobs, which cuts into the economy even further.

The future of business is coming with artificially intelligent software that will continue to improve. We should all be very excited about the potential that we will have with such technologies. Not only will we be able to solve many of the problems we currently have, but the future will hold even more advancements. All of this means that the future of business will be better than anyone ever thought possible.

Future of AI

Artificial intelligence has been around for quite some time now and it is predicted that it will be a defining factor in the future of business. This is because AI will help humans do their jobs better, in ways we never thought possible. AI is also called machine learning, computational intelligence, digital super-computers, or digital optimization. In other words, what makes artificial intelligence unique is the fact that it learns from its past mistakes and makes future mistakes to improve on its performance.

  • In the future, self-driving cars, self-piloted planes, and even artificial intelligent robots will be the norm. We all know about the potential dangers presented by autonomous weapons in war. If we are to continue to protect our civilization, it is important that we continue to develop these machines so that they don’t get out of hand and turn into rogue robots. Additionally, if there was ever a time when autonomous weapons were put to use, we need to be sure that the technology is safe and efficient enough to allow it to be turned around in an ethical and moral manner.
  • The other major area of artificial intelligence and the future of Artificial Intelligence are more concerning the area of research and development. Much of this is being funded by the military, especially in the area of computers in the field of intelligence, though private organizations such as Google and Facebook are also working on AIs. Although these projects are not yet mature enough to replace people in every job, the potential for a full-scale AI takeover of most industries, perhaps even human employment itself, is very real. Last fall, we learned that the defense R&D agency had invested a lot of money in a project called the Future Human Machine. This project was a joint effort between three major defense research agencies and was meant to eventually replace most human labor in the areas of decision making, logistics, decision execution, and interaction with the machine.
